Nails of the Day - Butter London's Lady Muck
For the past 2 months I've been exclusively wearing fall colors on my nails. So, when I went to do my nails today, I decided I needed to change it up a bit. I pulled out all of my Butter London polishes and was drawn to this blue-toned gray with a silver shimmer. This (Lady Muck) and Muggins are the only ones in my collection that I haven't worn yet. Since I've been wearing a ton of gray lately, I went with Lady Muck. Furthermore, it matched my scarf I wore today. It obviously was fate!
The formula on this polish is a little strange. It's much thinner than most other Butter London nail polishes. The first coat was pretty streaky, but after a second one the color is almost completely opaque. To be truly opaque I would have needed to add another coat, but to be honest, I think it looks pretty good. Overall I really love how this color turned out on my nails, even though it seems a little blah in the bottle.
What do you think about this gray polish? I'm rather enjoying the break from all super warm colors I've been wearing lately.
