Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Pink Nail Polish and Mini Cupcakes

Pink Nail Polish and Mini Cupcakes

You may remember this set of 3 Parfumerie polishes that I bought last week. Last week I did my nails with Pink Pineapple and Apricot Nectar. View that post here. Now something to mention about this. This is one of the first self done manicures that has lasted me longer than 3 days. I actually got sick of the colors before it got all chippy. I didn't feel like I HAD to change the polish but I actually wanted to. I can only assume this is because of the Revlon formula. I used the same base and top coat and pretty much did exactly the same things I do as normal. This week I decided to try out the Ginger Melon. I was not disappointed. This stuff was as awesome as the others. It applied much nicer and was almost completely opaque in one coat. I did 2 coats as usual and the end result is muy bonita.

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish

After painting the nails this afternoon, the hubs and I decided to get out for a little treat. We went to the mall down the street and got ourselves a little treat from Vanilla Bake Shop. If you've never been, check them out. I believe they only have 2 locations, one in Santa Monica and the other Century City. They are worth stopping by if you can, especially if you need a little break during a shopping spree.

Insert perfect opportunity for a nail photo shot.

Pink nails + baby cupcake = win

Just like the other two Parfumerie colors, this one looks beautiful and smells great. Also... I discovered that this is a perfect dupe for Snog by Butter London. $5.99 for this, as opposed to $15 for the Butter London color AND you get delicious smelling nails.

Win - Win.
