Nails of the Week- Julep's Meryl and some nail art
So I know it's been awhile since my last post and in fact my last one was a nails post! I don't have a great excuse, I've just been extremely busy and been out of town a few times. Apologies for that! However, I am here and I have some really cute nail art to show you. I was doing some browsing on a nail subreddit -- http://www.reddit.com/r/redditlaqueristas and I felt a little inspired to do a little of nail art on my own. In my last maven box from Julep I received a beautiful medium gray. I used Julep's Meryl as my base and then I picked out some fun colors to dot on top.
The colors I picked for this are
- Julep's Meryl
- Julep's Ava
- Butter London's Cheeky Chops
- Butter London's Trout Pout
I used Julep's dotting tool to add a little accent on my ring and middle fingers. I absolutely love the look of gray nail polish but I wanted to add a little springiness (is that a word?). The yellow, coral and pale pink dots add a super cute accent to the gray.
Isn't it so cute?!
The dots were so easy to apply! I don't know why I have not tried this before. Surprisingly, the light colors are really bright and opaque over the darker gray. I'm in love.
What do you think?? Have you done any nail art lately?
