Nails of the Day - Butter London's The Old Bill
So I had a serious fail this week with my nails. I decided I wanted to do a bright white nail color after seeing it around the internets. To do this, bought another Maybelline color show in Porcelain Party (white). This formula was so hard to work with! It was thick and sticky. It was the kind of thing where I think they were trying too hard to make it really pigmented, so it ended up being too thick for easy application. I'd rather have it be a bit more runny and do three coats, but apparently they do not think like me. Anyway, it looked terrible. So I threw on some glitter coat coat that I have and it looked... okay? I lasted about a day before I decided to take it all off and go to a good old friend of mine, Butter London. My friend Marianna has been obsessing over fall colors and she demanded I go for this bronze shimmery shade, The Old Bill. I must say it was a good decision.
Unlike the Maybelline, this polish seriously applies like a dream. The brush is amazing. I rarely am able to paint my nails without hitting my cuticles and needing to touch them up. With this polish I can get really close to the cuticles without actually getting polish on them. I feel like such a pro when I don't have to do all the touching up after painting my nails. I love it!
Then... the color! It's so pretty! Such a beautiful, bronzey, copper color. It's more gold in the light but still has beautiful copper undertones. Love!
That's all for now!
What do you have on your nails right now??
