Fall Bath and Body Works Haul
Remember how I said I'm excited for fall? I may have mentioned it a few times in my recent posts. Right after I posted my fall wish list, Bath and Body Works decided to help me fulfill my fall candle desires. I got the ever-so-exciting email stating that not only are fall candles in stock, but also that the 3 wicks were 2 for $22! Woo! I practically ran to my local Bath and Body Works. Fall is my absolute favorite time to stock up on candles. I picked up some old favorites and some new scents that I can tell I'm going to love.
Ok first up, can we talk about how amazing the new designs are on these candles? I absolutely love them. The top has little metallic leaves hanging down, which is so adorable. I'm so glad they are working on the designs, because really the one drawback of Bath and Body Works was the not so classy labels on their jars.
Marshmallow Fireside is my absolute favorite Bath and Body Works candle of all time. I think... Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut is up there too. But anyway, it smells exactly like roasting marshmallows over a fire. It's amazing and so comforting in the fall/winter.
Autumn is obviously a fall exclusive. According to the label it smells like "dark pomegranate with red delicious apple and juicy fig and notes of fir balsam". I love this one because its mostly apple, but it has other fruity scents. It doesn't have cinnamon, which is what almost every other fall candle has, but it smells quintessentially of autumn.
Next up, I picked out Spiced Pumpkin Cider and Leaves. These two don't have the classy resigned labels, but hey, what can you do? Both of these candles have cinnamon in them, which can be a problem in my house . My husband actually hates things that are too deeply scented with spices or cinnamon because it gives him a headache. I had him with me testing and these were the two that he found acceptable, since they were mostly other scents with just a hint of spice.
Leaves is an old favorite of mine. It is a "blend of golden nectar, red apple and spiced berries". This candle smells odd in the jar, but when it's burning you can really smell the apple and berries. It's a subtle scent but it still fills the whole room. It's a good one to burn at any time, and it doesn't become overwhelming.
Spiced Pumpkin Cider is a brand new scent for this year. This one is the strongest of the bunch. It is described as "fresh pumpkin-apple cider, ground nutmeg and a hint of clementine orange". The orange is what makes this for me. It takes away the harshness of the spicy scents. I think this will be one of my new favorites.
Lastly, we picked out some hand soaps, since they were also on sale. We finally finished up our backstock, so it was time. You can check out the descriptions below of the ones we picked out.
That's it! Right now 3 wicks are no longer 2 for $22, but I'm sure they will be again soon, they usually run that promotion every few weeks.
Check out their selection here but really, go into a store and sniff them all!
Let me know what your favorite scents are!
