September Favorites

September Favorites

Hello Everyone! Can you believe that it's already the end of September? October is right around the corner and before then, I wanted to make sure to let you know about some of my favorite things for this month. I haven't discovered very many new makeup products this month, I've been using a lot of my old favorites, like the Naked  2 and Naked 3 palettes. But, I do have a few and some accessories to share with you.

Too Faced Spice Spice Baby has been mentioned a few times already this month, making it quite the September favorite. This is pretty much the only lipstick I've been wearing this month. If you want to read more about it, check out my Let's Talk Lipsticks post and see it in action in my Fall Inspired Look.

Next up is a mascara that I've had for awhile, Clinique's High Impact Mascara. I bought this several months ago, but it was put on the backburner for it's counterpart, Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. I loved that one so much, but now it's on its last leg of life, so I went back to the regular High Impact and I love it! The brush is more fibrous, which is something I normally do not enjoy, but it's been working well for me.

Butter London's Shag nail polish has been my favorite nail polish this month. I posted about this here, if you'd like to see an in depth review and swatches. This was my most worn polish this month. I love the color and the metallic finish makes it so easy to apply and touch up.

I've been wanting these bedazzled hair clips from Anthropologie for so long. They were on my wish list back in April and when I saw these green and teal ones, I knew they had to be mine. I love to wear them to hold my bangs back instead of doing what I always do, which is tucking my hair behind my ears. It adds such a cute girly touch and a little bit of color, plus they are completely practical. They are really strong and keep my hair back all day, without having to futz with it several times. I am going to a wedding in October and these are going to be perfect to do my hair with!

The evening that I purchased the hair clips that I mentioned above, I also got to sniffing the fall colored candles at Anthropologie. I love the small glass Voluspa votive candles and this one smells heavenly. Baltic Amber is an amazing scent for fall and I love to burn this with my other Bath and Body Works candles for added depth to the smells in my apartment. These smaller glass jars are only $10, so you aren't breaking the bank and I find that these still last quite a long time. And, the glass jars are great for storage once you are done with the candle.

Last up, I've been loving these necklaces from Forever 21. What I've been doing is wearing this long gold and purple beaded necklace layered with the shorter crystal one. I've been getting away from the statement necklaces and going for more delicate layered pieces.

That's about it for my favorites this month! Are any of these on your favorites list? What have been your favorites this month?
