In Love... with the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Brush Set
I can't think of any other product that I've loved photographing more than these brushes. Look how beautiful they are! Every enabler in the book has been posting about these brushes, and when my bestie Marianna got them for her birthday, I knew I wouldn't be able to hold out for much longer. So, here we are. I ordered them directly from Zoeva's website, I think that's the only place that you can get them from. Mine took about 7-8 days to ship from Germany to Los Angeles and were packed extremely well.
On to the brushes, there are 8 total (a mix of synthetic and natural hair):
- 106 Powder: Apply loose and pressed powder
- 102 Silk Finish: Apply and blend foundation
- 110 Face Shape: Contour the face shape with cream and powder products
- 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek: Apply powder blush
- 142 Concealer Buffer: Apply and blend concealer
- 227 Soft Definer: Softly blend and smooth eyeshadow
- 231 Petit Crease: Accentuating and blending in the crease
- 317 Wing Liner: Detailed eyeliner strokes and a perfect wing
I've only used these for one day of makeup application, but I can tell straight away that these are my new favorites. I especially loved the Silk Finish face brush for applying foundation. I usually feel like I need to do a little extra blending with my beauty blender after using a brush to apply my foundation, but after using this one I didn't need to do that. All three eye brushes were a dream to use as well. The petit crease brush is SO nice for getting shadow right in the crease and not making a mess.
So far I'm just absolutely loving every piece of this collection, even the bag they came in. Let me tell you about this bag. From the pictures I thought it looked decent, but in person, WOW. It is my new go-to makeup bag it. It's an extremely sturdy leather pouch and even has a little side zippered pocket inside.
The set costs $78 and shipping a flat $16. I'd say even with the cost of shipping, ~$100 for 8 high quality brushes with a super nice leather makeup bag is a good deal.
Let me know what you think of these. What are your must-have brushes?
