Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita vs. The Vintage Vamp: Review & Swatches
For Christmas I was a very lucky girl and received two of the amazing Charlotte Tilbury luxury palettes, The Dolce Vita and The Vintage Vamp. They are very similar and I wondered for awhile if I really needed both, but after swatching them and playing around with them, I decided they were different enough to have both in my collection. I figured there might be some people out there wondering about the differences between these two palettes and so this post was born.
First, let's talk about the similarities. They are both incredibly high quality. I've never had an easier time blending my eyeshadow than with these shadows. They are soft, but don't have too much fallout (minus the glitter shade, which can get a bit messy). Basically, these are BY FAR the nicest eyeshadows I have in my collection.
As you can see in the photos, both palettes very warm shades, but the Dolce Vita has orange/brown tones and the Vintage Vamp has more red tones. The highlight color in the Dolce Vita is a golden champagne, where as the one in the Vintage Vamp is a very light baby pink. Both are very shimmery.

Below are the swatches individually and all combined. As you can see, the Dolce Vita shades are a lot more coppery toned. The formula of the glitter shadows are very different than any other one I've used. The flecks of glitter are very fine, which makes the shadow very blendable and cohesive. I found that there is very little fallout during application, but there will be random glitter on my face by the end of the day.
